Managed workstreams and deliverables for the Sidra Medical and Research Center IT Shared HIS/EMR project. The project’s goal is to implement Cerner Millennium at SIDRA Medical & Research Center to achieve a cost-effective, leading-edge Regional Integrated Delivery Health Network within the State of Qatar. Provided leadership to ITPMO and project team in the setup and implementation of the EMR project environment using Project Management Process and PMBOK methodology and technology tools to support project deliverables defined in the Project Charter and Scope.
I have twenty years of experience in social-sector aid projects focusing on health & education with NGOs, UN Agencies, and bilateral aid agencies. Expert in implementing new technology to manage the company’s projects and programs. I organized, managed, and developed various information technology projects such as developing software tools for customization and integration with third-party IT systems. Also, I designed specific management dashboards to facilitate executive leadership.
Holds a B.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Kansas State University- Manhattan, Kansas, Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Davenport University- Detroit, Michigan and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI), and a certified Balance Scorecards Professional (BSP) from George Washington University.
